Where it’s from

Cacay Oil also known as Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil, is expressed from the seeds of Caryodendron orinocense in the Colombian Amazon.

What is it?

The oil is yellowy/brown in colour and has a rich content of Vitamin A, E and essential fatty acids. The conditioning properties of this oil are fabulous, it will certainly leave your skin feeling nourished and moisturised. Many believe that this product can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It is considered as one of the top natural oils to use on the skin above Argan and Rosehip oil due to it’s high levels of Vitamin E and Retinol.

Vitamin E has the ability to nourish but also heal skin that has been damaged and is suitable for all skin types.

High content of Retinol will most definitely help to even out skin tone and diminish wrinkles and as a natural oil there couldn’t be a more suited product to use.

Cacay has a high level of Linoleic acid which helps to penetrate the skin whilst avoiding leaving greasy residue.

Whilst the use of this oil is very popular on the skin, many also use it on their hair – just on the tips to create a healthy shine.

This product is suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
